When our Mother passed away, my sister and I had to sell her house. The place was not in good shape and the recession made it a tough time to sell, but Ron was tireless in his efforts to show the place or drive attention to it. It was obvious this was not going to be a great commission for a realtor, but Ron treated our property as if it was going to be a million dollar sale and managed our client relationship as if it were the only one he had.

Jayme and Adam Keller are a young couple who recently purchased a house on Lincoln Street in an area I call the "HGTV neighborhood."  In 2007, the Historic Savannah Foundation, along with several area property owners, were instrumental in getting a $25,000 grant from the cable network to restore an important building catty-corner from Jayme and Adam’s new home. The grant did more than restore a building. It was the catalyst for a grassroots improvement project that elevated the whole neighborhood--from a weekend of open houses and block parties to restoration of several homes and new in-fill construction where once were empty lots.
